This car is #407 of a special limited 50 year anniversary edition. The JCW World Championship 50 was originally unveiled during the 2009 Mini United Festival in Silverstone, England, and only 250 examples were built for global consumption, 50 of which were delivered to the US. It was specially designed to commemorate John Cooper's back to back Formula 1 wins in 1959/60. Each of of the cars also came with letter of authenticity, signed by John Michael Cooper (see photo),

Based on a JCW Hardtop, the WC50 model is painted a unique Connaught Green color. Other notable features include aero parts, numbered plates, a Championship Red Lounge leather interior with carbon-fiber accents, and special floor mats with red stitching. Power comes from the 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-four, which produces 208 hp, and a top speed of 140+ mph.
