I have an Echo and a few "Dots" around the house and really like the integration they provide especially for listening to Amazon Prime Music, (and also music I've purchased). I can also integrate Spotify Premium, Tunein Radio and a bunch more.

Guessing to get all those goodies in the cars, we'll have to pay for extended internet access. Having that integration would eliminate the need for a cell phone to access all the good entertainment. So, I'm in on this one.

 

I have zero interest in putting a spying device in my home or car. It's a two way radio so big brother can listen in if he/she so chooses while I rant about the current state of politics. No thanks!

Yeah, there is that, but "they" can do that w/ your cell phone when you use it (or isn't turned completely off) and pretty much any smart appliance not even accounting for camera's everywhere, satellites and/or drones. Welcome to Orwell's "1984".

Sadly, the days of personal privacy are all but gone (unless you go Ted Kaczynski).
