Wheel & tire size with coil overs

I'm in a process of buying a new set of wheels and tires. I have a 2006 cooper S . installed TA technix coilovers and the oem tires 16" is rubbing the front coilovers. What is the best tire size and wheel offset combo? I would prefer 16x8. Any recommendations is highly appreciated. Thanks

I had that problem with OEM wheels and BC coilovers. Had to add 5mm spacers to clear them. New wheels, you would want like a 16x8 et30-38ish. Probably closer to 30 with the 8" width. Since you have coilovers you can drop it a bit and camber in case they poke a little.

Keep on searching for examples.
