42 mm turbo

Anyone out there running a 42mm turbo in Cali. I want to upgrade my stock turbo it's on the way out . I see the 42mm turbos on some websites, but it says your car won't pass smog ? , will a 42mm through any codes , or it just a visual because your require too upgrade the intake with the 42mm

You might want to ask Arric at JMTurboCoopers at 480-559-5401 He's in Arizona, so I'm pretty confident that he's sold some 42 mm turbos to Californians.

catless downpipe really needed to benefit from larger turbo, thats what wont pass smog. turbo itself is physically the same size.
