Auto Trans rebuild shop near DC area

Anyone know of a transmission shop near DC-VA-MD that will rebuild a 2010 MCS auto 6 speed trans? Like every one my car only has 82k miles and trans died, it started slipping intermittently then after couple days of that completely crapped out, wont come out of 2nd gear, light on dash. No one local in Southern Md area will touch it, dealer wants 7k, AAMCO said 6,800......anyone near the DMV area know of a shop willing to rebuild?

If I were you, I'd look at what rebuilt transmissions are going for to get an idea of what they cost. These days, very few shops will rebuild, only source a rebuilt transmission and install it. Been there..

for other reasons i replaced mine myself. I bought a good used one with low mileage, flushed the oil and put a new filter.

If yours is stuck on 2nd gear, im leaning towards a valve body issue. since the oil hasnt been replaced, it is probably burned out and "dirty".
