[size=4]Only 2,000 2006 GPs were made with 415 coming to the U.S. This particular car was one of a small number purchased with a California delivery to participate in MINI Takes The States. Included in the sale is much of the bling from that trip (California to Lime Rock,Ct., then to it's home in Massachusetts) including the official travelogue book stamped with the various stops . The metal MTTS plaque on the car is faded but a new unused plaque is included. Early service was at MINI of Peabody, Massachusetts.[/size]
[size=4]GP 0203 remains original except for a JCW gear shift **** (original will be included in sale) and an outstanding (and unbelievably loud) sound system upgrade [/size][size=4](MINIs high end factory stereo DPSM system)(original radio included). Sale includes the original GP wheels, a very rare type. It has been driven and enjoyed and is approaching 78K miles, but has been properly maintained and serviced: new original MINI exhaust (4/17). In June, 2017, front and rear wheel bearings were replaced, with complete alignment, and new tires (205/40ZR-18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S). Tires now have approximately 2K miles.[/size]
[size=4]This is a model that has and probably will continue to increase in value. Many people that have driven the GP1 and GP2 have stated that they prefer the GP1.[/size]
