Yes, they'll work on the 09. I don't know how long they were on a car. I bought them used to mount on a spare set of wheels, but ended up selling the wheels w/o TPMS modules and bought a 2013 (with the newer frequency TPMS). The model #s indicated hey were probably from a 2010.
