How many Sidewalks were produced?

I have trawled the net to find out how many Sidewalks were produced but could not get the figure. This link sets out the total of the Gen 1 Mini cabriolets produced.

Can anyone chime in on the number?

Excuse my ignorance; but, what is a Sidewalk?

A Sidewalk Edition was a trim package available on 07-08 convertibles in four colors with special seats, wheels, and other unique finishes and badging.

For the sake of shareholders and investors, carmakers publish monthly sales numbers usually by car model (e.g. for MINI the number of 2-door hatchbacks, convertibles, Countryman, Clubman, etc). It's unusual for a carmaker to reveal sales numbers in more detail. You can look up the 2007 to 2008 convertible sale numbers* and make a guess about how many had the Sidewalk option. I would guess about 10%.

* Conveniently compiled here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...Kyk/edit#gid=3, but you'll have to split it out by model year (vs calendar year) yourself.
