How to Establish Invoice/MSRP for Credit Unions?

Ok, Hopefully someone knows a way out of this...

I'm purchasing a Cooper S conv with all of the packages and want to add the aero kit and JCW.

My credit union establishs loan values by finding the Dealer invoice and MSRP for the vehicle. They normally use websites like NADA or Carsmart.

Neither of these websites recognizes that the option packages exist. Much less the Aero Kit or JCW. And then anything that is a dealer installed option such as the JCW doesn't show up on the "dealer invoice" for the car.

So any suggestions for how to establish the true cost and retail price of the car that would satisfy a credit union loan officer, that yes, the car is worth more then $22,000

You can get the invoice price on *most* of this stuff on Edmunds.com

As for MSRP... the dealership should easily be able to give you a print out of this information. It's basically just asking for your window sticker... they should have this info available easily.

This what you can do

As for the MSRP go to www.miniusa.com and build out the car with the options you want. This will give you MSRP. Since the Aero Kit and JCW kit are dealer installed there really isn't an "invoice" price for these items they would have to add the options at "Retail" to the "invoice" price of the car.......I hope that helps.

But I know when I bought mine.. there was a loaded JCW in the showroom... it had a price on it. So if the bank needs something really official the dealership should be able to supply that.

I used to work a a dealership, I did stuff like that all the time. With used cars, I had to send a proof of MSRP with every single one of them.

Ok, Edmonds does take care of most of it.

It's this whole Dealer Options thing that throws a wrench in the works.
