Day 2

New to the forum, new to the Mini world....

Just purchased a 2010 Cooper S Convertible for my wife. This morning (day 2) there is a warning that appears to be about tire pressure. I checked and adjusted the air pressure in all the tires and drove the car around for 15 mins to see if the warning would reset. It did not.

So am I misreading the warning?

Is there a way for me to reset it?

Owner did not have a manual, I looked through some online data and it looks like I have to take it to Mini to have that warning addressed. That just does not make any sense to me that a dealer would need to reset a tire pressure warning.

Thanks

Welcome to NAM.

Have you checked out the Stock Problems/Issues area for an thread addressing your issue? You have the TPMS, something my Gen1 vert does not have.

Also, be sure to change your oil every 5,000 and if you are not 100% sure the oil was changed by the previous owner, you should do so. Your car has the N14 engine.

Search YouTube for “Mini r56 tpms reset†and it will get a video that shows how to do the reset. You use the button in the end of the left hand column stalk.
