Someone with 2018 production car and a tow hook license plate mount, can you please confirm which tow hook mount actually fits?


I ordered one from ECS for 2017 ( they don't have 2018 listed yet) to only find out it doesn't fit my car. When I asked them to send me the correct one, they just issued an RMA and told me to send it back. I was really looking forward to use ECS dual GoPro/License Plate mount, but I guess I need to find something else. Pretty disappointed. I wouldn't think it would be different from 2017 model year.

Hello, Just saw this, did you use the ES2847719 for the MINI F series cars when you selected your mount threaded end?

I think this is it. I don't remember selecting it to be honest. Is there a way for me to exchange just that part? Not sure why Josh (via chat) didn't suggest that and just issued an RMA. You can pm me so we can figure this out offline. Thanks!

 

He might not have seen it in your order, it defaults to the most popular on our build your own kit which is a new feature. I will contact him and they can get it straightened out for you. PM me your order number and we can take care of it.
