Is anyone having issue with connectivity with the MINI Connected app not connecting in your car? Since the update to iOS11, it no longer connects. On the nav screen, all it tells me is to start the app and it doesn’t connect.

 

same here, no BT support anywhere (nav or audio) w/ iOS11. happened to be at my dealership today and they were unaware of any issues, but confirmed the failure

 

That’s interesting because Bluetooth works fine for me, but when I have it connected through USB, audio plays fine. It’s just the app doesn’t want to load to the car.

 

It’s a lot slower than previously, but it still connects. Generally the nav screen displays “no Bluetooth devices” for a 20-30 seconds, then the app starts and all is fine after that.

Annoying, though, is the fact that the app demands my PIN or Touch ID nearly every time, and then after connecting to my car makes me acknolwlege that I shouldn’t be using my phone.

 

The new Connected app is a piece of ^{#*. Pretty, but *#+!?%! No g-force app, requires a freaking login every time even though there is nothing to freaking protect.
