Bought a '17 MCS - have a couple ?s

Hello all,

Thank you for the help while looking to buy my MCS. Couple of question...hopefully you can help me out!

First question: If you have not seen one, there is a "Dealers Edition" for the Midwest region that is white silver and has a single red drivers stripe - I think it looks pretty sharp (link to a dealers site that has the car is below). Can anyone help me find out what the part number is for that strip or if it is even available through the normal mini parts channels?

https://www.hhpremierautomotive.com/...-stock-416843/

Second question: do wheels from a previous generation fit onto the F56? I like the 17" JCW R112 cross spoke wheels from 2013. Just not sure if that is a direct fit?

Third question: dealer is installing the JCW tuning kit this week. Has anyone ever hardwired the switch to a switch in the car?

Thanks for all the help!

1. The stripe is not an OEM Mini part, but any reputable vinyl shop will be able to recreate it for a lot less than a dealer would charge you.

2. No. Previous generations (R series) are 4X100 bolt pattern. 3rd Gen (F series) are 5X112.

3. I asked that same question myself a long time ago. Haven't heard of anyone doing it yet. If anyone could come up with a kit for that they could make some money. I got tired of mine closing arbitrarily and disabled it with the flap in the open position. Straight pipe all the time now.

That strip is the dealer's version of the MINI 7 stripe scheme.
Single stripe drivers side.
They most likely had a vinyl shop do it.
vetsvette is correct about $$$

What do the numbers mean? 4X100 and 5X112.

2. No. Previous generations (R series) are 4X100 bolt pattern. 3rd Gen (F series) are 5X112.
