Hi all,
Just bought my first Mini - a 2009 Cooper S - a week ago today. Trying to get connected to the Mini community as I'm sure I'll have questions as I get more time behind the wheel.

And, if you are not 100% positive that the oil was changed in the last 5,000 miles, suggest you change it. The N14 engine in your car has had issues if the oil is not nice and clean.

Thanks. I'm taking it in for an oil change next weekend, because I don't know exactly what the dealership did to it right before I bought it. They're still working through some other minor (maybe not so minor) issues on the car before I worry about the oil...
