15" Fitment on an R52 (2008 MINI Cooper S Convertible)

Okay, I've searched high and low about putting some 15x8s on my 2008 R52 (2008 MINI Cooper S Convertible) and I can't seem to get a definitive answer. Looks like the R53 is okay and even a 2006 R52 seems good to go but the 2008 is a bit of a mystery. Can I slap 15s on my lovely beast?

What are your front brake calipers? JCW brakes are larger than the base front brakes so likely the answer is no. None of the 15" wheels will fit. Some 16" will fit but you need to know from the wheel vendor. 17" will fit

You do not have JCW brakes, right? In that case your 2008 R52 is equivalent to R52 (or R53) from any other year, and yes you can fit 15" wheels.

This is correct - I've put 15 inch holies (Imolas) on my 2008 R52 S with no problems. If you go 8 inch wide, I would expect that you would need some spacers though, depending on the offset.

Cool, thanks for the replies! I indeed do not have the JCW brakes. For a 15x8 fitment, I would go with ET35. I've seen many R53s with similar fitments so I'll do a little research on offset.

Thanks again!
