Questions on N18 Forge DV installation

Hi, I'm noooob here.
So please be gentle.

I own 2012 R59S, and still working on other mods like CAI, OCC, Boost gauge, and JB+(JB+ is on the way now).

Now, I'm planning to install Forge DV, FMDVR60R <-- I think this is the correct one for N18, without noise.

I realize that the same DVs for N14, the vacuum line is from the intake manifold, the one located below the intake filter box.

However, for N18, the vacuum line is connect to one near the turbine side, instead of MAP sensor.

I'm not sure what does this OEM vacuum hose do.

Does anyone know about this vacuum hose?

Also, anyone know the internal diameter of Forge hose for DV kits?
I'm trying to match the color of silicone hose that I use for Mods under the hood, instead of black.

Thanks.

Thanks.
The original vacuum line I mention is showing in the link below, step #8

The N14 engine pulls vacuum on the intake manifold during normal operation, so you can tap the manifold near the boost sensor for vacuum source. On the N18 engine, the intake manifold does not see vacuum during normal operation. Step 8 in the Forge instructions for the N18 then has you tap the vacuum pump instead of the manifold.

If you get 1/8” silicone hose, should work fine.
