We had 3 year service done on 6/17, one month before our bumper to bumper expired. Today the SERVICE DUE 8/17 light comes on. WHY?

The only solution that crosses my mind is they forgot to re-set the reminder .

Agreed. They forgot to reset the service interval at my first CBS oil change. I swung by on the way back from a business meeting and they looked embarrassed, took the car around to the service bays, and came back a couple minutes later having reset it.

I could have done it myself using Carly but I preferred they fix their own mistake.
