Muffler-less For Short Period?

Milltek-style (not Milltek brand) right muffler guts are breaking free inside the can and there's no fix. I can't get to a shop to do proper muffler-deletes for a week or more.

Anyone run with the exhaust terminating at the Y-pipe without dying?

I'll have windows down and drive minimally, just checking with the smart folks first...

PS. loudness, noise and drone is not an issue...

If it were me, I would just be careful with the exhaust heat under the car. You would be better to keep the rotted muffler until getting to the shop, unless it is falling off.

Refraining from WOT would help.

I am not too concerned at all about the joints in my Megan exhaust, they never, no matter how hard I wrench on them, fit snug. Yes there are leaks, but I don't think that is it any worse then the jacked up F350 rolling coal in the lane next to me when I have the windows down or up for that matter. Now, if the header was leaking, that is in font of me and will be vented straight into the cabin. That I would be concerned about. but if it is under the car, not so much. the car does vent out the back right where the exhaust is... might be better if it vented out somewhere else - just kidding it probably isn't.
