This may make me sound like an idiot, but I am confused. I want to buy a used set of rims. These after market rims came off of a 2004 hatchback. I want them to fit on my 2011. They are the av-12s in the picture.

The seller is unsure of the offset (et) but knows they are 15s. What is the offset on my stock wheels? Will my tires fit on these rims? I currently have 195/55-16. Will the rims fit my car? I've never worked with switching wheels before, so thank you for the help!

 

Your offsets you have to match in order for your wheel bolts to line up properly, however you mentioned the rims you're looking at buying are meant for 15" diameter tires and yours are 16's that you'd like to re-use. This is the aspect that wouldn't work. Your tires width can be slightly bigger or smaller usually, but not the diameter.
