I just got through replacing the whole system in my R53 and I took out this Aux input, it plugs into the factory radio and allows a 3.5mm headphone jack input. Comes with everything the OEM kit did, even the original mounting screws and trim plate. Feel free to text me at any time at 757.329.9 one 05
