2017 F56 Wiring dash cam into fuse box

any experience with this? I read on some forum that it would be fuse #F52..but there were other people saying it could screw up the electrical system? I can't be the only one who wants to hard wire a dash cam.
Is there one that is set to the ignition?
I've also called multiple dealerships and they won't tell me anything....

they also said on the forum the hard part would be finding somewhere to ground. Any suggestions?
Id rather not leave the cigarette adapter plugged in all the time.

the dash cam I'm getting is the newest street guardian. I've done it to a truck before where I just snip the wires right before the adapter, strip the red and black, and piggy back onto other wires and it worked great. That truck had a specific dead end wire set to the ignition for that purpose though.

This is what the wires will look like. It's only 2 very thin wires

Piggy back the cigarette lighter, power goes off 2 minutes after ignition off.

OBDII power plugs are a good alternative too if your dash cam uses micro or mini USB. I use it on mine and it switches on with accessory power, doesn't set off my alarm, easy to hook up, and no power drain on the car.

Maybe I'll give the obd a shot. I'd have to check if it keeps giving power even when off

seems a bit much. I wish I could just use a fuse tap where a wire comes out but don't know what Fuse to replace. 2017 is different model wise, and the fuse box is awkwardly behind the glove box
