TSW Stud Conversion Set

Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $60
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R50, R52, R53
Location (Region): West
Item Condition: Used

I bought these from Texas Speed Works and they will convert a first gen (02-06) MINI's lug bolts to lug nuts. These are great for track use when you have to change wheels or if you just hate dealing with the bolts. The only reason they aren't being used now is we switched to a wheel that looks better with the bolts. They sell new at for $119 so you can buy my used set for half the price. Buyer pays shipping

Texas Speed Works, huh? Just how old is this stud conversion kit? How long was it mounted to the car?

Interested. Please PM with # miles or months used and maybe a picture or 2 with close-up of rotor-side threads and nut side threads... Price is right if the product isn't worn out/damaged.

Sorry about the late replies. I didn't realize I had to subscribe to this and I wasn't getting notifications.

It was bought a long time ago, probably late 2008 or early 2009, but it was removed on 2/25/2010 when we installed the Schmidt TH Line wheels which have exposed lugs so we switched them for chrome bolts. Since then, they've been in a box in my garage and I live in a desert so very dry storage.

Somewhere between 1-2 years and very low miles. Car is an 02 and it still hasn't hit the 100K milestone yet. I just spun the nuts down and off both sides on all of the studs and everything is good, no bad threads on any of them.
