What is the service interval for a MCS?

Hi there,
I received my new 2016 MCS in September of 2015.

I brought it in for an oil change at 10,000KM (about 6000miles). And because I don't drive the car very much that was about 16 months after the delivery date. I also never noticed a service indicator unlike some other cars I've owned in the past.

Seems like during that service, the technicians set the next service at 12,000KMs, which seems a little soon after my last service, it's only been like 4 months.

Tried to find the service interval information in the manual but no luck.

How often do you guys bring your car in for routine service?

For oil changes, I prefer 5000 miles or at least once per year.

Service is 10K miles or 1 year, whichever comes first. I've been on a 1 year schedule since I got mine as I'm not putting 10K on mine per year.

Since you delayed in bringing your in after 12 months, they are putting you back on the recommended schedule.

I have 125K on my 2014 F56. I bring it in for service when the service light comes on, about every 10k miles. The car runs as strong as it did when new.

When I was in for the last oil change, all the mechanics checked out my car looking for the things that normally go wrong. They didn't find anything.

The only maintenance other than oil and tires was a recent brake fluid change. Oh, I did replace one of the cabin filters, but not really sure I needed to.

Good to hear with 125K low maintenance. But one half of a cabin filter since 2014 ? Somewhat unheard of as on average it's a yearly maintenance...and brake fluid DOT 4 should be flushed and filled/bled every 20K miles and not once in 125k miles, what shop is doing this work ? Should also be doing Coolant flush every 30K, Engine Air Filter once a year.

As they said the dealer will basically change the oil/filter once a year or every 10k miles. Interestingly the first year is up 12 months after the dealer took ownership, not after YOU took ownership. I got my first service (indicator came on) after about 4 months because my car sat on the lot unsold for 8 months.
