Smoke from tailpipe after coming up to temp

I have searched all over for this, but cannot find anything for this specific issue.

I have an 07 R56 that is smoking from the tailpipe after it comes up to temp. It does not smoke after it has sat for a while, and will emit a large plume of white smoke after sitting at a stop sign/light. Very little smoke comes out at any other time and none comes out until about 10 min after the engine first comes on.

The mechanic originally thought it was the turbo (he was "99% sure") but after dropping $1800 on having it and the associated parts replaced, nothing changed.

Hey tried replacing the valve cover / PCV valve. nothing changed.

He put some Bar's Valve Seal Oil Consumption Repair, told me to drive it for 250 miles, and said that if it gets better than it it probably valve stem seals and if not then it is likely cylinder rings. Nothing changed.

My understanding is that if it were seals or rings that it would smoke from a cold start and would not drive for 10min or so first without smoking.

I am really close to giving up on this car after the relentless engine issues over the years but i Before i do, I was hoping that someone might have some solid advice or be able to point me in the right direction so i can try and save the car without spending more than it is worth.
