R52 radio install
Hey all
Installing a double din in my 2008 Mini Cooper s.
Had it in my 2009 S with no issues. Tried using the same wiring harness/adapter
And have no sound. Does the 08 have a amplifier? Anyone know if there is a different harness for the 08?

2008 R52 and 2009 S (R56) are different generations of MINI and have completely different electronics and wiring. The R52 has an amplifier only if it has the Harman Kardon system.
