I have the 2017 4-door hardtop mini and we got the rear bike rack for a roadtrip this weekend. However, the brake light attachment wont fit! The cable housing 'rotates' the 1/4 turn, but it doesn't line up with the 3 side prongs that's on the female side that's attached to the car. I seriously think this plug on the bike rack was sent defective...
The bottom 'prong slot' should be at 12' on the top, not on the bottom. It only rotates a 1/4 turn.
Female side on the car. Nothing can move or rotate on this piece.
