F55/F6 Cooper S Brakes/Pads/Rotors NO BBK

I went through the forums and there is a lot about the subject in R series and JCW but not much for F series Cooper S vehicles. Also suggestions for BBK which involves high cost due to replacement wheels/tyres is not an option at this time.

I would like recommendations for pads/rotors
USE: Aggressive street / occasional track day driving. I have a 20km drive to town on very twisty roads and I find that I have light brake fade after about 15km which gets to moderate as I get to the 20km point. Going further is mostly highway so no longer an issue.
REQUIREMENT: I would like a pad/rotor combination that limits fade while not resulting in excessive noise. Current dust is pretty bad (on stock pads) but I can live with that. Wear is pretty poor so an improvement in wear would be great. Again concern is noise as I hate that squeal when stuck in traffic...

Ideally a slotted rotor with a high performance street pad would be ideal.

From what I have read Carbotech XP10 fronts / XP8 rears could be a good solutions but concerned about possible noise. Also which brake pads are compatible with the sensors?

Looking forward to any help / opinions with thanks.

I'm following 🤓

I'm not a fan of the squishy pedal feel when breaking hard. I've read of other people swapping their brake lines for stainless steel to reduce the expansion in the lines and give a more solid pedal feel. I'm tempted to install the BBK but I'm with you, I like my stock wheels and don't want to endure the expense of new tire/wheels combos. I'm interested to see the responses.

Even if you install the BBK you should still install stainless brake lines to prevent the spongy feel.
