Best way to remove chrome/plastic

Hello all, is there a "forum recommend way" to make the plastic wheel well match the paint and remove chrome?

I have a black mini, should I:
1)remove, sand, and paint the wheel wells & plasti dip the chrome
2)plastidip wheel plastic and chrome
3)other

thanks in advance

The chrome I am referring to is around the lights, and on the bumper
Can plastidip be made to look glossy like the paint?

Painting wheel arch trim to look right and last is an expensive process, best done by a pro. Did I mention expensive?

They sell black chrome replacements, you can also do some vinyl wrapping which is generally cheap to do.

Not a fan of plastidip other than being able to pull it off easily.
