My 2015 MCS came with JCW 562 wheels and I have curbed them 3 times in the last 2 years. I live in a crappy tourist town where the city government believes in 90 degree curbs, pot holed gutters and parking gestapo ($1.00 per 15 min). Giant SUV's from TX and CA tear up the curb walls. Anyway...


My wheels protrude past the rubber and I am tired of getting them repaired (run flats dented one rim already-thank highway dept). I ordered a set of alloy gators as the install video used a Mini. I am on Pirelli P Zero's A/S's. Any experiences of thoughts?

 

My Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S's have a rim protector. No experience with the gators... other than when I lived in FL.
