New speakers are really quiet

I put a Boss 5 inch speaker in my driver's side door and now the tweeter and that speaker are really quiet and have no bass, what did I do wrong!?

Wrong impedance? Did you check specs of new vs original?

car have the HK sound system?

Doesn't that system use a 'non-standard' impedance speaker ....
