Thumbs up Lightweight 16 inch wheels

Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $650
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R50, R52, R53, R55, R56, R57, R58
Location (Region): NorthEast
Item Condition: Used

I'm looking to buy used, lightweight 16-inch wheels to be used for autocross and HPDE in my 2006 JCW

Wheels need to be between 7 and 7.5 inches wide. I'm not fussy about colour, but gold or bronze would be a bonus getting your more $$$.

I also don't want anything that's been bent or showing cracks / stress fractures. Some curb rash is acceptable since the wheels are for motorsports, not to make my ride all Purdy-like

I'm not interested in OEM wheels or wheels that weigh more than 17 lbs each.

Willing to pay actual shipping costs to zip 13669.

Thanks

I know you said 16x7/7.5 but "lightweight" and "bronze" caught my attention.

I just bought a new set of 15x8 949 6UL's in bronze (they're more gold than bronze IMO) for $160 per wheel and 11.6lbs each. Just thought it might be something you'd want to look into.

Thanks. I looked into those since are among a few 15-inch wheels that fit over the R53 JCW front brake calipers and am still tempted by them.

Where did you get your? The bronze all already sold out from 949 Racing.

I got mine from 949 over the winter. I checked their site every day and bought them as soon as more arrived. You might be able to call and see when the next shipment is coming.

I've got a set of r84 x-lites that I'm hoping to sell and then buy a set of 17s so I can fit bigger brakes. Find me a nice wheel / tire combination and I'll sell you my x-lites cheap

I have a set of 15" RacingHearts which came from an SCCA National racer. They weigh exactly 10 lbs each, and accommodated Wilwood BBKs.
