High mileage R60 issues

Hey all

We are thinking about a 2011 S All4 with 100k miles. Car is a trade in with 1 owner and always main dealer serviced. Production date 2011-03-16

Any issues to look at, was there a timing chain recall on the N18 that needs doing?

Points of note from the history file

27k
Thermostat replaced
Oil control valve replaced
Engine wiring harness repaired

55k
Spark plug(s) replaced

67k
Intake manifold gasket(s) replaced
Thermostat replaced

80k
Intake manifold gasket(s) replaced

90k
Fuel pump replaced

Thanks

I don't recall if the n18 need less attention to timing chain. but having the fuel pump already replaced is nice, since that part alone is $1000. I find it very strange that the thermostat housing and the intake manifold have been replaced so many times

Maybe they got it wrong the first time and it still leaked.

Here's a thread on the thing tensioner and my potential car does fall in the window quoted. However it's a very old thread.

I read that the transfer case starts making noise and eventually needs replacing. The N18 engine should be solid provided that the oil was replaced frequently and kept topped.

Thanks all. We picked the car up and so far are very happy. Ordered a few personalization parts for the key and the puddle lamps.
