Help diagnos my HID problem

Ever since I've had my 08 MCS I've noticed my two headlights were slightly different colors. Today, I moved it in the driveway and the drivers side one is out. If I switch the lights on it will flicker for a second and then die. I have am feeling from my research it's the ignitor but I want to bounce it off you guys before I start throwing parts at it. So what do you think????

My opinion is to change your headlights asap. Because they are different in colours. If you drive your car at night then you will face problem for sure. So change it right now.

If the HID capsules are original to the car, they could surely benefit from being replaced. (HID capsules get dim over time) Pick up a set of new bulbs and throw them in. If that fixes the problem, great, if not, at least you have new bulbs to renew the lighting when you replace the ballasts.

Are there aftermarket options for bulbs or is that a BMW only thing?
