Front Seat thoughts

Throwing the idea out of changing my front seats. I think they fit well but I cant seem to get as low and I want in this car. Also as I get more spirited in my driving I find myself holding onto the bolters with my elbow in the corners. My previous Subaru was basically like sitting on the floor and had good side support and I miss that. I have the seat lowered as far as I can but still feel high. Anyone swap their seats and able to get lower? If so, what did you do about airbag sensors? Thanks

The car itself sits high. Lower seats and you'll be staring at the dash.
I mean, its an suv.

I am 6'3", I've got a long way before I'm staring at the dash haha. I guess I will wait til I lower in the summer to make any decisions.

Good Recaro seats are the bomb. I had them in my Porsche 912 Targa SRW. Aardvark racing has them for $700-800 a pair. I had mine with inflatable lumbar support... you just kept squeezing the bulb to increase the support. They pull them out of old BMWs and re-do them.

May or may not fit, but dang they are comfortable and supportive.

I will keep these in mind! Will more than likely need custom sliders but my garage of tools is growing and a welder could be in the near future

I put them in a Suzuki Sidekick I picked up for $200 (needed a valve cover gasket). They were even blue and matched the interior. Oh, when eBay was young and fun...
Should have never sold that one. Sold it for $4500 though

Custom sliders are available, but my friend who can "fix anything" just adapted the existing sliders... no drama at all and dead easy. Same with my old 912 Porsche Targa.
