Question on Parts swapping

Hey guys since I am interested in modifying my r60, I was wondering what parts crossed generations. I understand that the n14 and n18 have the same downpipe. what about:

intakes
intercoolers
turbo mounts
boost gage hookups

also is the rsb in a r60 share with any other vehicle?

thanks

Intake is different between the cars, intercooler is the same, turbo mounts in the same place, boost gauge reference can be taken from the intake manifold MAP sensor with a boost tap.

The R60/61 RSB is totally different from the 50 series cars.

Im sad it appears the Forge BOV spacer (noisemaker) doesnt seem applicable to the N18. Seems odd.

The spacer should work. It's the same K frame turbo, same recirc valve, and same recirc valve mounting.

The BOV by Forge is different per engine, but I don't see why the spacer would have a problem.

Are you speaking of the intake air box or the intake manifold?

Manifolds are different but an aftermarket air box will work for either engine, MAF sensors are different between the two engines, but air box is the same.

sensor it self is different, but the same plug? cause I have the opportunity from someone in my area with a K&N intake for n14, didn't know if that would fit in, otherwise I was just going to build my own

Nick, the intake box. the manifold should be the same
