Xenon Head Light Replacement

My 2006 MCS is in need of a low beam Xenon bulb. Can anyone recommend where I can buy one? Also, what is involved to change it. TIA

Amazon/Ebay would be the cheapest. To remove/replace, look behind the headlight assembly. There will be a rubber cover and behind that will be the bulb/igniter. Unlock the headlight connector by turning it counterclockwise. Press together the metal tabs that secure the bulb to the holder. Should pull right out.

One of the things I came across when I had to buy new bulbs was the proliferation of fake HID bulbs. Yes, even on Amazon, you can be subject to buying fake bulbs. How can you tell, dunno, inconsistent responses so buyer beware.

FWIW, I did buy the Philips D2S bulbs from Amazon and they were fine. Auto Light Industry was the vendor. About $45 or so per bulb.

Installing the bulbs were a little fiddly and left it with my son since he's better with puzzles. The mount is keyed so you can insert the bulb and lock one way and then tightened. Might take some practice, but can be done. Patience!

The lower fogs are LED's, the passenger side low beam is the OEM 4300k bulb. The drivers side is the new 6000K replacement bulb. I just wanted to see the difference. The are both now using the 6000K bulbs

These are the bulbs I used to replace my OEM's

They have been on about a month, so far good, no problems,

Since I went with the 6K bulbs, (They are a bit more blue than the OEM Bulb) I changed out the lower fog lights with these:

Now they look more like the newer cars that have the LED bulbs, actually the lower fogs lights on my MCS are now LED's.

$15.00 pair.

I'm still using the same bulbs I bought in 2011.
Also bought some for my other car, they got lost in shipping, DDM sent me another pair and said keep the first ones after they were found.

I'll stand behind DDM bulbs as well. I've never had a bad experience with any of their products. Some people frown at unbranded replacement parts, but for automotive lighting DDM products are decent quality alternatives at a reasonable price.
