Aux Driving Lights

Hey all,

After reading a bunch, swapping to hid or projector housings are out of reach. I'd like to install some aux driving lights but want to use them along with or instead of my low beams. I know some are SAE/DOT compliant but that is only for hi beam usage. Is anyone using aux lights with their low beams with success? What type of bean pattern are you using? I've been thinking of using some fogs mounted in front of the grill, I think they would have a sharp cutoff for incoming drivers but don't know if they'll reach far enough to support the stock halogen low beams. Also considering driving light pattern aimed low, also to supplement the low beams. Let me know your experiences. Not lookin for stock mini stuff, looking at complete kits from PIAA or Hella in HId or LED that I can use all the time

I'm using driving lights with yellow bulbs aimed low. The beam pattern is "pencil" type so you can see far out but not wide. I use them as compliments to fog lights during rain, snow or fog (yellow light provides better vision under these weather scenarios in my opinion).
