I have for sale a used Gen 1 2002 - 2006 MINI Cooper center armrest, and a New Redline leather, with red stitching, cover for the sliding top. The Redline cover sells for $59.95.

Condition issues are a few scuffs to the trim pieces that cover the metal support, the small round caps that cover the pivot point may need glued in place, and the center console has a small stress mark.

To retro fit to a non-armrest car, you will need a new bracket that fits under the console (ECS Tuning has them for about $25).

Yes, it slides open.

 

I couldn't find the bracket you were referring to on ecstuning. The retrofit package they have shows a lot more pieces is needed for this install.
