I bought my CMS this past Monday. After reading a lot of the forum to catch up on information for this model, I saw some owners having issues with the fuel pump and water pump for this year.

I called my Mini Dealer today, which is 90 miles from me and checked on my VIN ... it was very nice to hear this:

"For your VIN, Mini has extended your warranty for the following:"
- Fuel Pump 10 years/120,000 miles
- Water Pump 7 years/84,000 miles
- FPM Module 8 years/125,000 miles

I hope this helps some other owners of the 2012 CMS that were unaware of these warranty extensions.

I've been looking pretty seriously at a local Countryman All4 S model that's a 2013 MY with a December of 2012 build date. Short of calling or emailing the dealer, is there any way to verify if these extensions are applicable to the one I'm eyeing, or is it on a VIN-by-VIN (or VIN range) basis?
