Missfire

Hey everyone, I have a 2013 countryman s all4 .. started with a missfire on idle and gave me code on 3 cylinders . So I replaced the coil packs, plugs . Then it was good on idle but now when driving at 2K to 3k rmp it stuttered and light came on and car basically went into safe mode! Used ODB to reset code and it was back to normal, however new code came up ( Baa2 ). I also replaced up and downstream O2s and still nothing! -any ideas in what to do next ?

Baa2 sounds like a bond rating. You need different reader to get codes.

Same

I am going through a similar issue just replaced the #2 and #4 wireing harness through my carmax 30 included warranty after they already replaced the radiator support arm, wipers, and wheel well trim.

After reading extensively through this forum I would not be surprised if at sputters again when I pick it up and either get to replace the HPFS or some other costly part. I regret not getting the warranty. Really really regret it and most of all regret not reading through this entire forum before purchasing a MINI. I mistakenly thought since I see so many on the road that they were reliable and I bought one less than 2 years old to hedge my bets on reliability. What I'm finding out is that people love these cars but they are ridiculously costly and just above lemon status compared to Asian sporty small cars and BMW is not going to change a thing. The novelty sells itself and they don't need a reputation for reliability as they are so "cute" people will buy them. Case in point the last engine, the N14 had constant HPFP issues so you would think when the new N 18 came out they would work out that bug. No, not even close.

Porsches are more reliable than Minis.

Basic I know but did you check the plug gaps?

My problems were fixed by replacing the wireing harnesses on the cylinders that misfired. Plugs were tip top. The best thing I did was eliminate a mod. Do you have and mods?
