Can factory seats be lowered?

I traded my 08 MCS for a 2013 MCS, and I swear that the seats don't go as low (with the adjustment) in the new car. On the old car, the bottom of my leg was on the lower part of the seat, now its floating.

has anyone else noticed a change with the later 2nd gens? Is there anything I can do to get the seat to drop more?

Thanks,
Mike

I guess I meant was there a stop put in (like the rear seat headrests) to prevent the seats from lowering.

I've only test driven a couple of earlier 2nd gens, and I feel like my '12 is the same low as those, but I couldn't be 100% sure on that. I do know that my '12 sits me very very low.
