Hi I am new to the forum and minis in general I fell in love with minis a long time ago and finally got one.
2004, with 96000km i am having problems with the sunroof and any help will be greatly appreciated.
I got the car about a week ago and the sunroof was not working then. so i took off the sunroof motor and tested it and it works so i plugged everything back in and unplugged the battery to check other things when i plugged the battery back in guess what sunroof worked for the whole day. The following day guess what no sunroof again.
can someone plz help

 

It sure sounds like an intermittent electrical connection in the circuit to the motor, or it could be something inside the motor. We have replacements if needed, please let us know.

Has anyone had sunroofproblems like mine and how did you fix it

So after many tries of disconecting the batery and the sunroof working for about 30 min i took it to a bmw guy he hooked a a really fancy obd and he thinks that the problem is the bc1 any one know what i should do next thanks guys
