I realized once I fold the rear seats down, there is no handle or strap to pull the seats back up from the boot area easily.

So, I just purchased two of those popular neck straps that can be used for keys, id badges, etc. and ran them over the rear headrests, and they run down in the boot behind the seat. Makes it much easier to pull the seats back up. And most folks probably have something like that hanging around (no pun intended). Easy fix if it's a problem for you too. To clean it up, you can attach a little piece of velcro to hold it against the back of the seat, but my doesn't flop around.

 

Good idea. Since I don't find myself folding the rear seatbacks that often it hasn't bother me (I just stretch and reach over to put the back rest in normal position).


I don't understand why MINI has not put a pair of straps in both rear back rests, but since people really haven't complained about it, they haven't done it.

Guess I'll have to make a call to my child labor camp deep in the forests of Mozambique to close down the production line...now all those kids will have to hope a Nike deal comes through...
