HPDE cam/injectors/header

Looking for a couple more mods and feedback for my HPDE/trackday car

Car has intake/catback and 17% pulley, brakes/suspension, bone stock internals/head

Considering

ebay intercooler & diy diverter
RMW Dominator cam
OBX or megan header, anyone make a cat that bolts in instead of test pipe? I like to keep the car tagged so I would probably need to put a cat on once a year
550cc injectors (in case I go for head later)

wideband tune from someone, there's a shop in cary that works on mini

I'm not considering a head right now, that kinda money is better spent going towards an e36 m3 build in 2018

I'm running a setup similar to your current + prospective/future mods. After the standard bolt-ons I added the RMW Dominator cam, RMW Shorty (street) header, and 450cc injectors, then had Jan tune the car at a tune party in Orlando.

All that makes the R53 a great little package: better low-end power and plenty of midrange to top-end oomph. I'd love to add Jan's big valve head, but it's a little rich for my blood right now. And quite frankly, the car has more power than I can fully exploit as a spirited DD anyway.

I'm also considering gutting the pre-cat and running stock header/cat it gives similar gains but is cheap, I'm not sure how to do it though

I would get a LSD over the BVH, start pushing more power, the 1 tire will have plenty of issues going around a track, let alone with an extra 50hp from head and cam. a header definently helps the motor breathe. I went from about 16psi to 12psi just by swapping the header, mine is catless, long tube 4-2-1

I don't have too much issue with traction on the track, but I'm getting an mgactory diff later this year
