I've decided to part out my 2006 r53

It has a bad head gasket and or head. When I part this out, are there any hidden parts that I will want to grab? It has 125k on it and it's a 6 speed.

Not sure I can handle all of the replies, but I looked on Ebay and now I have a better idea of what to remove.

If you're handy with tools a head job on these cars isn't that difficult, and you would more than likely have it taken care of in a weekend.

Other than that, a part out listing either on here or local forums will net you the best result.

I really like the car, but the clutch was slipping a bit too. I figured i would have about $1000 in parts at this point. I could do most of the work myself.

If you really like the car and it's paid off, I might weigh the options of fixing it.

We have everything on hand that you would need to tackle either of those jobs. I doubt you need a head unless it's cracked around the rear most head bolt by the timing housing (rare).

Let us know if you'd like us to put together an estimate on all the parts required for the jobs.
