I have 300 miles left on the factory extended warranty and the water pump FINALLY went. So it is going in for replacement just under the wire (phew).

Anything else anyone would suggest having looked at?

I'd just tell them to go over the whole thing with a fine tooth comb. Engine bay/all systems, gear box, interior, suspension/steering gear, the lot.
