Hi all,

Just picked up my F56 today, and so far I'm really enjoying it. I bought the car used so I'm going though and reseting all the setting to my liking. I'm trying to find a way to reset the ECU. I accessed the hidden menu and unlocked it, but I don't see anything that stands out as a reset. I've searched the forum and google and can't find how to do it on the new cars, just the older ones.

Anyone know how to do it?

 

There's no published procedure I'm aware of for resetting newer generation ECU.

You can do a battery reset which really only works to wake up a module not really a reset. You can only" reset" it through the ISTA MINI diagnosis program. It really just clears the learned adaptations from the memory and relearns the VANOS movements and range.
