Hello, I am selling my beloved 2004 Mini Cooper JCW. I bought a van for business, and I don't have a place to keep this car.

This is a unique, beautiful and fast MINI. I am the second owner, and there were a lot of performance modifications done by first owner. The car does have 175,000 miles and is far from perfect at this point in it's life. But it still has all it's power and drives great. It is a perfect car for a mini enthusiast who wants a low cost fast car, and who is able to put the time into caring for it. This would also be a great track car.

I am located in Oakland, CA. I might be able to drive this car down to the LA area if there is a definite buyer.

Aero Kit front bumper and side skirts. Custom black trim. John Cooper Works (JCW) high-performance engine tuning kit (220hp), brakes, suspension and steering wheel. Quaife limited slip differential. Koni struts. Lightweight alloy wheels with brand new performance tires.

The JCW kit was installed at the dealer when new. The kit was upgraded to the 2005+ version by a dealer about 6 months later. This means it has the JCW air intake and uprated fuel injectors.

PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR:
- Cooling system overboils from time to time. I have had this checked out numerous times and the shop says it's not overheating, and the head gasket is good. So they don't know what it is. The overboiling does not prevent you from driving and I don't have to add water very often, so it's really not losing too much water.
- Power locks don't work.
- Side airbags on passenger side are deployed (not the front airbag). This happened when I hit a piece of road debris with the wheel. No body damage and wheel was replaced. I did not bother to replace the airbags.
