Well I bought this mini 5 months ago. Had a Kia Sephia as a daily driver and gas saver that car was dependable good on gas and unbreakable. Decided it would be a good idea to buy something newer and nicer and fun to drive. Well so far its been throttle body, crankshaft pulley, plugs, serpentine belt and several other issues and none of them are cheap to fix. Yesterday driving down the road i heard a pop. Pulled into my girlfriends neighborhood and heard a little rattling nothing major. Soon as i reach her house the battery light came on. Looked under the hood and the belt tensioner literally cracked above the supercharger pulley. Cracked!!! WTF!!! and the belt shredded around stuff. Pulled it all apart and cleaned the belt pieces but i still have some wrapped around the AC condenser. I was wondering if anyone had pulled off the pulley on the condenser while still in the car. It looks like it has a torque head screw, but i didn't know if it was pressed? Also, if anyone has replaced their tensioner with a better option that doesn't freaking crack!!! WTF!!! I ordered the stop from Alta my crank pulley seemed to have missed the damage. Any help will be appreciated
