never heard of them, but just from a quick glance at their site it looks like they cater more to the Civic-type crowd. but they have a good selection of stuff for a wide range of cars, mostly Japanese with a lil German and American thrown in.

We are going to be testing this exhaust. from what they say, it is rather easy to install, and sounds good too.

We will let you know. They just got them instock on wednesday, so it is a really new setup. The price is also right in line, for the budget minded enthusiast.

Looks like a Scorpion/Playmini system with a resonator at the cat end of the exhaust tubing. Still at $599, its $100 over the price of tha Scorpion. ($430 - $484 with shipping on ebay looks like a winner though). Tips are smaller too. Might be worth a closer look for the modder.

Including eBay pricing? Is this the manufacturer of the "Pilo Racing Short Shift Kit"?

Does it come with any warranty? Also, who makes the exhaust. It doesn't look like Megan Racing (not sure why they are called Racing), is the manufacturer, nor do they provide a warranty for the item.

Megan Racing has the exhaust manufactured to their specs. I am not sure who physically does the work though. Regarding the warranty, I believe all their products are 1 year warranty.

Got the exhaust in the other day. Doing the install tomorrow. First think Is that every thing is very well packed, and took me forever to unpack every thing. That is a good thing. The whole exhaust is highly polished to a mirror finish, and all welds look perfect. Better then I have seen on much more expensive exhausts. They are all slip fit connections, and has the proper fitting, and gaskets for the header connection, including bolts to connect the header to the exhaust.

I will test fitment and sound tomorrow. I will get both exhaust drive by and revving sound so that you have a comparison.

Here is a video wiht the sound of the exhaust.

There is no resonation, and cabin sound is pretty quiet, but sounds great from the outside.

It looks kind ot like the magna flow in the video, but it does not look like that in person.

The cans seem to hang pretty low, no?

Thanks for the video. I really like the sound... nice and racey, not ricey. Are there any other components contributing to the sound like a header and hi-flow cat?
I just installed the Alta intake and love the sound, but the stock exhaust sounds a bit weak. So now I am now looking for an exhaust to balance things out a bit. This should fit the bill, especially at that price.

Is there any difference in power compared to the exhaust you removed?

What audioman asked, and are there any fitment issues? What do the tips (installed) look like from the side and above?

Lol, I'm actually not like that wen leaving my drive way. Though there is a honda that I think only accelerates from the noise coming out of his exhaust. You hear this BWAAAAAAAAA for like 10 seconds, then he passes my house. He is only 2 houses away too.. lol

We did some before and after Acceleration Runs of the stock exhaust from 30Kph to 100 kph Here are the results. The stock exhaust was tested at 61 F, and the Megan Racing it was 66F

The Stock Ran 5.61 average in one direction, and 5.80 in the other.

The Megan Ran 5.52 average in one direction, and 5.72 in the other.

We are happy with the results as they are real world, and not isolated on the dyno.

The cans are about the same height as the UUC that I used to have. They are just longer, and more noticable. Also,

My car was rearended, and the exhaust hangers were bent a bit, we did bend them back, but they may not be perfect.

The header is stock, and so is the CAT. we are waiting for new products before changing them also. We do have the Pilo Racing intake, and a 19% pulley as you can hear from the whine.

We will be charging 420 plus 40 dollars shipping for the exhaust, and it should be up on the site soon.

oh.. and Andy, I got a spell check for my IE too bad it can't help on grammar though.

There were not fitament issues. This fit almost too good. The slip fit design really allows for pertect positioning. The only thing that I needed extra was a 1/2" bolt to hold the tips in place together. That was the only thing not provided, but it just may have not been in my box for some reason. I will check that on monday.

I will get some tip pictures. I relly dig the tips though. better then the stock 100%, fill the gap perfect.
